I grew up in a Christian home and in a church that is very missions-minded, so I developed an interest in missions through the years. I became a Christian early in life, but it was on a Campus Outreach CCP to London that the Lord impacted me by allowing me, for the first time, to see peers practicing the daily disciplines of the faith and having a personal relationship with Christ.

Through my job as the missions secretary at a church, the Lord continued to grow my interest in serving as a missionary and it was while raising support to move to Romania that I met my husband, Jim Doggett. The Lord redirected us and settled us in Birmingham where Jim and I both worked for Campus Outreach; I worked in the financial office for a short time until our first child was born. Twenty-two years later, I'm back in an administrative role with Campus Outreach and seeing the ministry have an impact on my children!
