I didn't grow up going to church but always viewed myself as a Christian. I thought I would get into Heaven if I was a good enough person. I tragically lost my father to suicide when I was 17 and was left heartbroken and bitter. I went to the University of West Georgia (UWG) in the Fall of 2010 and met a Campus Outreach staff member named Josh Etress who shared the Gospel with me on numerous occasions. During my freshman year, I finally understood the depths of my sin and knew that without Jesus’ perfect record, I would be in Hell - I surrendered to Jesus and his glorious grace. I stayed involved with CO and ultimately felt a calling to go into full-time ministry, so I sought wisdom and made a commitment to work with Campus Outreach!
