I grew up in church and always thought that I was a christian. I though that because I believed intellectually that Jesus died on the cross for my sins that I was “saved.” This idea was shattered during the summer after my freshman year at Troy University. It was through a fraternity brother of mine and a campus staff member at Troy that I came to see how I could truly be accepted by God despite my sin. I came to see that by Gods grace, though faith in the cross, I could be seen by God as if I had lived a perfect life. God used the ministry of Campus Outreach to bring me to himself. I have come on staff with Campus Outreach to take the good news of the gospel onto the college campus in hopes of seeing God redeem more men and women for himself.
