Growing up I was always the “good kid” and turned to sports, girls, and popularity to satisfy my need to be approved by others. I came into college believing that I had been saved at a young age, but there was no evidence of a Christian walk in the way I was living. During a Sumer Beach Project, I realized I did not have a personal relationship with Jesus- I recognized Him as my Savior, but I had not yet submitted to Him as Lord. This was also the first time that I started to feel the depths of my sin and as a result, saw the glory of God's grace to cover my sin. After my eyes were opened to these things, I surrendered my life to Christ and saw my desires begin to transform. I now have a continued desire to intimately know God and a desire to share the good news of the gospel with my peers and spiritually multiply my life.
