Growing up, I had heard of God’s love for me from my parents who faithfully took me to church. When I was in middle school, I went to a summer camp where I heard the gospel and it pierced my heart. I felt the love of God and understood my need for a Savior. I began walking with Jesus at that point, desiring to read the word and grow. In high school, I started fighting sin and recognizing that there is nothing I could do to earn my salvation. When I started my freshman year at Samford, I became involved with Campus Outreach. I experienced discipleship and accountability for the first time and God also gave me a heart for people who do not know Him. I am so excited to be coming on staff and joining a ministry that has deeply impacted my walk with Christ.
