Alex

Before Christ, my life was hopeless and lonely. I grew up in a military family, struggling during my childhood. Growing up without hearing the name of Jesus made it hard. My family finally settled down in Andalusia, Alabama, where I heard the Gospel for the first time. The Lord definitely had His hand on me through the many trials in my life. I struggled with a lot of sin and was caught in Cultural Christianity in the South. I went to Auburn University, where I finally gave my whole life to Christ and was on fire for the Lord. Through the growth in my faith, the Lord led me to Campus Outreach International. Through this ministry, the Lord has allowed me to love international students and share the Good News of Jesus Christ with many different nations around the world. I am excited for this journey.

I grew up in a small country church where most people were decades older than me. I genuinely loved the people, and I deeply admired their faith. I became a follower of Jesus in middle school, steadily growing in my relationship with the Lord over the years. However, it wasn't until the summer before I moved to Auburn that the Lord opened my eyes to grasp the depth of my sins. This was also the first time I was surrounded by believers my age, and their passion for the Lord caused me to reflect. From there, I dedicated myself to the Lord, and He helped me step out of my lukewarm lifestyle. Through various connections, the Lord led me to Campus Outreach International, where friendships were started with people from all over the world. I am excited to partner with them in being the hands and feet of Jesus.
