COMMITMENT TO EVANGELISM
Campus Outreach began by asking, “Where are the students whom no one else is reaching?” This focus has continually led CO to focus on keeping evangelism central to everything we do.
COMMITMENT TO DISCIPLESHIP
Christ commanded that we “Go and Make Disciples.” Teaching the next generation to follow Christ through life on life mentoring and discipleship is how we do this.
CONNECTION TO THE LOCAL CHURCH
Campus Outreach Birmingham has always been integrated with the local church. By functioning in partnership with and under the authority of local churches, we prepare the next generation of leaders for a lifetime of service through the body of Christ.
COMMITMENT TO DEVELOPING LEADERS
We focus on building and launching leaders. We provide emerging leaders with life changing growth opportunities and leadership development throughout their time in college
METHOD OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Campus Outreach Birmingham operates under the umbrella of Briarwood Presbyterian Church and is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Each member of our organization serves as both a campus missionary and a fundraiser. Our fundraising goals vary annually based on the needs of our ministry.
We are deeply grateful for the ministry partners, composed of individuals, local churches, and businesses, who support the mission of Campus Outreach. Those partnerships enable the work of building laborers on the campus for the lost world to continue.
