Birmingham Staff

I came into college claiming to be a christian. I thought as long as I was a good person then I would get into heaven. Every time I would fall into sin I would be scared because I thought I wasn't good enough to go to heaven. This led to a season of depression in my last two years of high school. Once I came to UWG, I decided to try a different approach in order to find joy and fulfillment. I pledged a fraternity and began living the stereotypical frat lifestyle. While pledging, I met a man on staff with Campus Outreach who began sharing the gospel with me. He invited me to a Campus Outreach Event where I learned that true fulfillment comes only from following Christ and that He wants to have a personal relationship with me.
